Braga Fresh Family Farms is Hiring a Sales Administrator Near Soledad, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our team. The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of retail math.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales or retail environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of retail math principles, including calculating discounts, margins, and markups
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry
-Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure product availabilit - Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues or concerns related to sales orders - Maintain accurate records of sales activities and update customer information in the database

Position Duties:

  • Maintain and distribute various reports including harvest forecast, price sheets open market sales reports, etc.
  • Help sales staff with answering phones and assisting customers as needed.
  • Filing, typing, data entry and basic clerical duties
  • Assist Commodity Management Team as required.
  • Manage data entry: Order entry, Estimates, Block ID’s, etc.
  • Coordinate Orders and Appointments with Shipping
  • Assist with Accounting requirements including adjustments and AR collection
  • Manage sample requests – coordinating with Shipping and Quality Control
  • Assist in managing online databases including Itrade, Foodlink, and various customer platforms.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Assist sales team with order entry and sales adjustments
  • Ensure great customer service

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills, including MS Office along with the ability to learn new
  • applications very quickly.
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated & goal-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task & prioritize work
  • Professionally represent our company and core values
  • Must be available to work an occasional Saturday
  • Team oriented

Education &/OR Experience

2 years Sales experience is a plus

Requires continuing education as needed for role and other job-related areas
